In-Home Microneedling using Mr. Pen M8
Hey everyone!
Last Friday, after a long, hard week, I decided it was time for some serious self-care. My go-to? A luxuriously warm bath with Hush Bubbles Handmade Skincare Meadowfoam Bath Flakes. If you haven't tried these yet, let me tell you, they are a treat! There's nothing quite like sinking into a fragrant bath to wash the stress away.

Feeling refreshed and utterly relaxed, I felt it was the perfect time to try something new – and that's where my new buddy, Mr. Pen M8, came into the picture. This nifty device promised an at-home microneedling experience, and I was more than ready to give it a whirl.
Here's a little insider tip - I started on a Friday to give my skin the whole weekend to kick back and recover. Neat, huh?
First things first - a clean face is a happy face! So, I washed up well and while my skin was still feeling fresh and damp, I reached for my trusty Peach Slices Snail Rescue. If you haven't tried it yet, you totally should!
Now, here's where things got really interesting. I introduced my skin to Mr. Pen M8 for the first time. I had my Cos De Baha Hyaluronic Acid Serum on standby, brush applicator and all, moisturizing my face before I started with the device. Since I was just testing the waters, I went with these settings:

- Forehead: 0.5 - 0.75
- Between the brows: 0.25 - 0.5
- Lip area: 0.5
- Chin: 0.5 - 1
- Cheek: 0.5
- Around the eyes: 0.25
Honestly, it wasn't half bad! After microneedling, I gave my face a little rinse with some warm water, said goodbye to the leftover hyaluronic acid and got down to some serious skincare. I layered on Medicube Zero Pad, Marine Luminous Mask Essence, and my favorite, Retinol.
When I woke up the next morning, I refreshed my face with a wash, and treated it to another round of Marine Luminous Mask. A little morning pampering never hurt anybody, right?
But here's a crucial piece of advice - patience is key! After my skin's first date with Mr. Pen M8, I learned that it's best to give my skin a 4-6 week gap before our next microneedling rendezvous. This gives the skin ample time to chill out and heal before the next round.
It's still too soon to tell you about the wonders Mr. Pen M8 might have done for my skin, but I'm definitely looking forward to more microneedling adventures. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that regular dates with Mr. Pen M8 will bring some amazing changes to my skin.
So there you have it, my first dip into the world of microneedling at home! Can't wait to share more of my journey with you all. Stay tuned for the next update!
Catch you later,
Cristelle
